What Girls Can Learn From Watching Arie Break Becca's Heart

Bachelor Nation is still steaming, I know I am. Here's what we can learn about it.

I'm sure you've seen the craziness in the news about the infamous "Kissing Bandit" Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his two fiances. I know when watching the show I was thinking about all of the things I could possibly throw at the television when he chose Lauren instead of Becca K.

All in all, there are some things that we girls can take away from watching the super long finale of the "Bachelor" and watching Arie's deceit.

Heartbreak hurts. It really freaking hurts.

Becca seemed so confused and hurt by the fact that just one week ago, Arie talked about the future with her and then he up and changed his mind. It reminded me of my recent heartbreak. Nothing hurts more than being in love with someone and thinking they do too, only to find out it was all a lie.

We put a lot on the line with our hearts, and sometimes it's just not enough. Those guys who are not ready for someone to love them with everything they have, do not deserve you. Real men will be grateful for you giving them the piece of you that matters most.

Be a Becca. Or a Sienne. Or literally any of the girls on the Bachelor.

Okay so maybe except Krystal. My point is that all of the girls on the Bachelor were so independent and accomplished. Becca handled the entire situation beautifully. If I were Becca, I would have been screaming and throwing things at Arie and the cameras. He would have left the first time I asked him to.

Becca is so strong for going through this (and on national television). Always remember that you are more than just the boy you are with or the version of you that the world sees. Always know your worth girls and then add tax. No boy is worth tipping your crown over!

Girl squad forever.

Tia, Sienne, Caroline, other Bekah, and Kendall showed up on "After The Final Rose" and supported their friend through and through. Those girls I am sure were there to take Becca out, comfort her and listen to her as she went through this whole ordeal.

It's important to always keep your girls close to your side, even during a relationship because they will there through it all. When boys change their minds, your friends will always be there for you. Whether it's to cry, or show read receipts and be petty on Instagram, it's Girl Power through and through.

You are not just a Bachelorette looking for her Bachelor.

Now that Becca is the new Bachelorette for the upcoming season, a lot of us are behind her because FINALLY, she gets her chance to find love.

We should remember though, we are more than a potential "Bachelorette" looking for her Bachelor. You are a woman of power, strength, and love who deserves to find someone who will give you the final rose every day of your life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
