If you have never watched the show Friends, then please go to Netflix right now and binge watch all 10 seasons. Im serious, do it. Once you have done so, you will fully understand why you're either two things in this world, a Chandler Bing or a Joey Tribbiani. Throughout all 10 seasons of this wonderful sitcom, Chandler and Joey have done nothing but bring many laughs and giggles into our lives.
From the time Chandler was locked in a bank with a Playboy model to when Joey decided to buy a chicken and duck as pets, these two wonderful goofballs have made you at least smile once or 500 times over and over again. So the question remains, would you consider yourself more of a Chandler or more of a Joey?
Chandler, whose full name is Chandler Muriel Bing, who is very charismatic, passionate, and, as he says in the show, "hopeless, awkward and desperate for love." Chandler always finds himself debating between whether or not a girl likes him or what should he do if the girl he likes doesn't call. Whenever he finds himself in an awkward or desperate situation, he either comments with his witty sarcasm, or, to the best of his ability, rejects the states situation. Chandler is also a very compassionate guy.
Regardless of how crazy he can be when it comes to women, once he knows he's in love and happy, he will do whatever it takes to make the other person happy as well. His wonderfully cheesy jokes will put a smile on even the saddest person's face. So, you're probably a Chandler if you enjoy making other people smile, putting others before yourself and being sarcastic is your forte.
Joey is an up and down kind of guy. He will either have a great idea, or will have one where he ends up locked in a tv stand. Joey relies on his friends to help him out in any way they can. I'm not talking about money wise or needing to constantly have his hand held in order to survive, but more of his willingness to have his friends give advice and help him become a smarter and better person. Joey, also like Chandler, will put people before himself.
If something is wrong, he will stop what he is doing and make sure that his friends are OK. Joey is constantly, and I mean constantly, eating. He is a bottomless pit. Anything his friends make, he will eat, no matter how disgusting it is. Along with the constant eating, he is also constantly talking to women. With a simple "how you doin," Joey can talk to women with ease, unlike his buddy Chandler. To sum up, you're most likely a Joey if you accept and listen to what others have to say, help others when they truly need it and women and food are your forte.
All in all, whether you're a Chandler or a Joey, the most important thing of all is that you are a good friend, cause after all, true friends will stick by you and help you no matter what.
