An Open Letter to Myself

To myself,

Be silly,

Be fun.

Be different.

Be crazy.

Be you because life is too short to be anything but happy in your true skin.

Remember this: You are dedicated to your studies. You work your ass off in school, your friendships, and your relationships. You're brave and courageous and funny and lovable. You were told more than once, "I can't help but smile when you're around because you radiate happiness". It's okay to be a little too smiley and it's okay to dream about your future.

"You do not owe a single person an explanation for why you're living your life the way you are or why you do the things you do".

You are passionate. People mistake your passion for being too wild but when you're passionate about something, you will ramble on for hours because you love the subject. Your love is real. You wear that heart of yours on your sleeve and that is okay. One day, there will be a guy who will explore your heart and want to know every little reason why you love the way you do.

If I had to describe myself it would be;

"Bold soul

Fierce heart

Strong mind".

I hope when you come back and read this, or to any other girl who is reading this, that you know how absolutely outstanding you are. You deserve nothing less than everything you've every dreamed of.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer. And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:
