Dear Mom,
You are the most selfless person I have ever met in my life. Since the day I was born you have always put myself first before anything else. You sacrificed so much of your life in order to give me a great life. I still remember the days when we go shopping, and you would buy me almost anything that I wanted. While you did not buy one thing for yourself. You have always put me first.
I honestly have no idea what I would do without you. I would not know how to go through life without you. You've woken me up for school from kindergarten to now about to be a sophomore in college. You still continue to make my lunch in the morning and help me pack my backpack. You're my taxi driver driving me pretty much wherever I need to go. No matter what happens I know I can always count on you to help me.
You're my absolute best friend in the entire world. Whether we're cooking, baking, or going shopping I know we're going to have a good time together. I look forward to the conversations we are going to have every day. Whether we're talking about today's politics or the dreams we had last night. I always know it going to end in a lot of laughter and love.
You listen to every one of my problems, no matter how stupid or little they are. I always look forward to coming home and telling you everything that happened to me that day. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on when I felt that the world was against me.
The older I get the more I realize, that I am exactly like you. The love I have for cooking and baking is because of you since I saw you cook and bake my entire life. The love I have for reading is because of you since I saw you have a book in your hand my entire life. I am an exact replica of you.
You are the strongest women I've ever met. You've gone through hell and back, but you never allowed the hard times to get you down. You always bounced back from every difficult situation. You let the hard times strengthen you.
Thank you for always being there for me. When I was going through a rough time in high school, you were the only person there for me. I always knew you were going to be there to love me and tell me everything was going to be okay. Thank you for making our home a loving a safe space for me to live.
When I have my own kids one day, I hope I can be half the mother you were to me. I hope I can be half the women you are.
Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me. I know I don't say thank you as much as I should. Just know that I am thankful and appreciative for every single thing.
You are the best mother in the whole entire world. I'm so thankful God chose me to be your daughter.
Love,
Bethany
