An Open Letter To My Little: Thank You
Ana Fotopoulos

Dear Little,

Where do I start? Since I have met you I knew you where the little for me. I saw how well we connected and couldn't imagine anyone else as my little. It was like a dream and hoped that this was real. Since then I have gotten to make memories with you and watch you grow and wouldn't want to trade that in for anything. I got to get you your first pair of letters (which was such a proud moment for me) and you have taught me how to be a better person and just love the life I live. With that said here are some things I want to thank you for:

1. Thank you for being my best friend.

From lunch dates to just about everything else, I have had someone to share my good and bad days with. You have brought a little extra happiness and excitement into my life.

2. Thank you for picking me up when I'm down.

Every time I'm sad or upset you know just the right words to say and how to put a little bit of a smile back on my face. Even just by the things you do. You make me feel a little more hope that everything will be just fine.

3. Thank you for supporting me.

Whether it's a new boyfriend, my goals for life, or anything else, you have been there to tell me how proud you are of me. (Even for the smallest or silliest thing.)

4. Thank you for laughing with me.

You know just how to have a good time and put all the worries away for a brief moment. I always find us laughing and enjoying each other's company. Nothing is better than that.

5. Thank you for doing so much for me.

From getting me Starbucks those few times and giving me one of your donuts and you didn't even have to. I hope to do the same for you sometime.

All of the above just really make me feel grateful that I have you in my life. I do not know what I would do without you. You have been a great addition to Delta Zeta and my family line. I am thankful for a lifetime friend, little, and sister in you!

Love,

Your Big Sister

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
