An Open Letter To My Bottle of Wine

First off, I want to say thank you.

For all those times you helped me get through schoolwork, Wine Wednesdays, and any other random occasion. Thank you for always being there for me when no one else was. Thank you for always making me feel better whenever he didn't call or text me back, or whenever I just wanted to stay in on a Friday night with Netflix.

Sweatpants, hair tie, chilling with no makeup on ... that's when I feel the classiest, I HOPE YOU DON'T TAKE IT WRONG.

How can you not convince your BFF to come and stay in with you while holding a big bottle of wine in my hand? Thanks for always having my back on that.

Thank you for continuing to love me even after all the times you got me sick. I will still continue to come to you the next night. Even if I did accidentally throw up in the Frat guy's backyard.

I also say YOU ROCK!

You rock because you are my wing woman, my sidekick and, most importantly, my BFF. You always seem to make great conversation with other people about your type, the kind I'm drinking of you, really just of anything. And I can walk around with you without a problem, no one cares. They're just haters! No one ever seems to hate you anyways, who could hate a classy bag of wine!? Even if you are Barefoot ;) Pinkies up, heels on and last night's makeup still strong!

Speaking of Barefoot, I LOVE how many choices I have. Walking into Bottle King or even a dinky liquor store, I can never just pick one. White or red? Pink or sparkling? What am I in the mood for? But you know what I love the most about you? No matter if its $10 or even $30, you get the job done which is what ...

WINE DRUNK! Wine drunk will always be my favorite. #Wunkie. I never feel bloated after I have a couple of glasses, and you never leave a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. Not to mention, I CAN DRINK YOU IN FRONT OF PARENTS WITHOUT A PROBLEM. And mom gets wunkie too, so it's all good.

Not to mention, no one is going to judge me if I stick a straw in you and sip how I want.

To you, my beautiful bottle of wine, I salute. Cheers to always a good time.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
