Dear Leggings,
I am writing this letter because, well, you rock. You truly are God's greatest gift to this entire planet and I think I speak for majority of the population when I say you without a doubt make life better.
Let's first take a minute to look back at all the times you've been there for me. The countless Monday mornings when I roll out of bed, tired and cold. There you are, in the closet, in the drawer, most of the time on the floor, waiting. Waiting to make my morning stress free, jean-less and comfier.
Those times where I'm getting ready to go out. I most likely had Chipotle a few hours prior and we both know my jeans aren't buttoning. Heck, they're probably not even getting past by thighs. But you always make room for me. No matter what shirt I put on, you match. No matter what shoes I put on, you match. No matter what makeup I wear, you manage to match that, too. And it goes without saying that you always manage to attract boys at the bar because you make my butt look great. So thank you for that, too.
And how could I forget to mention all the days in-between work, school and going out, when I just wanted to do nothing. There you were, yet again, to cuddle with and keep me warm. We've watched hundreds of hours of Netflix together, HGTV and Justin Bieber music videos. I also wanted to say sorry about that time I spilt salsa on you; you know how I feel about J Biebs.
For full disclosure, I want you to know something, leggings. For a while in my life, I was heavily involved with Jeans, and, well, from time to time I still see them. But after meeting you, I've quickly learned they will never understand me the way you do. They'll never fit me the way you do. And they'll never, ever be you.
So, thank you, leggings, for all you've done for me, for making me feel prettier, for being by "go-to," my right-hand. I can't picture my life without you in it and honestly, I don't want to.
I'm looking forward to a lifelong relationship and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. I know it's only up from here.
Love always,
Girls everywhere
