What is that feeling of a rising fall in the pit of your stomach, reaching to your throat and grabbing it like a puppet? Giving you the sensation that something is about to burst out of you but could sink back down like an anchor to your core at its own accord. What is the feeling of your chest heaving, crushing your organs down only to find out your body was fibbing because at that moment your chest is inflating with the freshest of air that its lungs have ever kissed? What is that feeling of a well slowly overflowing where the windows of your soul are build...and why when you look out those windows, do the corners of your mouth reach out high touching the water that has fallen?

This is inspiration. This is that picture you created with the strokes of genius you used that paintbrush for, this is the curve from the ink that poured out of your soul through that pen embedded in your hand, this is that melody in the air permeating to everyone's ears that originated from beats of your heart which traveled through your hands.

This is inspiration. This is what causes you to become paralyzed in your motions staring out for what seems like an eternity until your eyes fall ever so lightly down and you regain your feeling. The feeling regained is not what you felt a moment before though, no...the word feeling itself has completely changed meaning for you because suddenly you realize what it means to feel.

You wonder how something can impact you on first sight like this, how something can do so much without even trying, and all it took for it to strike you was one glance at its original beauty to remind you that there is a reason to strive for more in this life. Then you're overcome with this urge to create something to emulate that entity How can something or someone encompass this with its mere essence? What is this creature that can survive in this world, this creature that seems so pure and rare with its bright light eclipsing the shadows of everyday life?

In today's world we are so quick to assume the worst in everyone and everything before we even interact with it, sometimes, before we even see it. We go through the motions of everyday life thinking this is all that there is while we slowly wind down all the while unbeknownst to us our drive has diminished. Once this lifestyle has become routine we lose knowledge of our passions, interests, and we collectively think that there's no point in the pursuit. There's this complacent emotion lying stagnant inside of us at periods in our lives and it causes us to lose our sight. Then, someone or something brings back our vision.

This is inspiration and takes a form in our lives when we are in need of a reminder. It thrives and breeds in a world that is downcast because that is where it is needed the most. This is Life's way of allowing healing to spread in the souls of individuals across the world, making them feel when it may be too hard to, giving them the gift of joy in their work and craft. It ignites our passion in whatever it is we venture to do. It allows us to recapture that feeling our passion gives us and more importantly brings back the drive. Making us feel a feeling of that can only be describe as, "whole" or "purposeful".

the beauty of this miracle is that it can take the form of someone or something. It knows no bounds or limits in its form. It is specifically individual to you. This is what makes it so potent in power, it makes us feel special because we feel as if it was only meant for us to see the beauty in. From it, we create something that can be the source of inspiration for someone else. It perpetuates throughout time. It is a lucky thing to come across someone or something that gives you the inspiration to carry on and create no matter what.

So, what is that dwells in your stomach that feels like it reaches up to your throat? What is the cause of your chest heaving and inflating in excitement or the what is it that scents the air with the sweetest aroma that kisses your lungs? What is it that causes your eyes to drop tears but simultaneously make you smile and laugh with joy? Whatever it is, don't lose sight of it, because inspiration like that is a gift from Life that is rarely given out.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
