An American Bangladeshi singer’s Punjabi track Ranjha

Tanjina Islam, an American-Bangladeshi singer presently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, currently is in the news for her collaboration with Parakh Mathur known as Paranox and Srijan Sharma on a new age electronic Punjabi Trap. Their track "Ranjha" has just been released from Zee Music Company, India.

The song Ranjha, the singer and the lyricist, Tanjina Islam, and Music by Paranox and Srijan Sharma released on August 21, 2019. Last summer Sidd Kel directed the music video and it was shot at various location in Georgia and some in India. He brought the dancers Gayatri Menon and Udita Menon from Express The Beat group to choreograph some dance parts for the music video.

Tanjina Islam, a trained classical musician, performed alongside with famous singers from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan like Shabina Yasmin, Shreya Ghoshal, Ali Zafar and many more. She attended several prestigious music schools like Shotto Shaha Shangeet Niketan, Shishu Academy and Chayanaut in Bangladesh. Tanjina received the Dhallywood Film and Music Award in 2009 for Best Female Singer in North America. In 2016, Tanjina formed an electronic group named "Zen Cassettes" with Praneet Akilla and Bhaveek Makan. Her Collaboration Track "Blade Runner" with Brooklyn and Vayu was featured on Bobby Friction show for BBC Asian Network. Tanjina is the 1st Bangladeshi American singer to get featured along with Brooklyn Shanti and Broso on the 2nd Album of Asia's Best by Billboard Asia in 2018.

Paranox, an Award-Winning trap and bass music producer and DJ, PARANOX has carved a niche for himself in the Indian electronic music circuit. His style of fusing Indian elements with the slickest Bass Drops is a class. Some of his accolades are as follows - - 'Track of the Week' on BBC Asian Network, representing central India on the exclusive interview with Bobby Friction. - Invited by Nucleya for the guest mix on BBC Asian Network - Best Electronica Artist, People's Choice at Radio City Freedom Awards, - Multiple nominations at VIMA Asian Music Awards. Paranox has not only captivated the Indian audiences but enraptured the international listeners too with tours in global locations.

Srijan Sharma is a Music producer who has worked with well know producers in the industry, His tracks have hit some huge milestones like BBC Asia and Rolling Stones India. He has done Background scores For Indian Film Industry for shows such as 24 Anil Kapoor series, Motu patlu, Ishqbazz and many more. The album Ranjha is getting very high reviews from the international circuit and among the diverse communities.
