4 Custom Among Us Game Modes To Play

Pronouns Only

Pronouns Only Among Us

The name of this mode is pretty self explanatory. Each person will have a pronoun as their name. You are only allowed to call other people by the pronoun they chose. You're not allowed to refer to others by their real name or by the color of their character.

This game mode can get a bit tricky when you're panicking and want to get out some important information. The key here is to remember to use the pronouns you and others are assigned even if it sounds as silly as "she was in Medbay" when you're referring to yourself.

To make it even trickier, feel free to change your pronouns every other game!

Grayscale Mode

Grayscale ModeAmong Us

For this game mode, make sure to change the color settings to grayscale on your device. This way, it will be hard to identify who the imposters are since you can't tell what color they are.

But what about names? Names can definitely give you away. You can always have a blank name (search up how to do this on google!). Or you can pick a letter, for example, the letter "i" and have everyone in your group play with different amounts of "i"'s in their name. Unless you pay attention to everyone's names, it will be tricky to remember who's who and who was with who.

Hide & Seek

Imposter POVAmong Us

I'm pretty sure a lot of people who have played among us have already heard about this game mode. In this game mode, the imposter(s) have a super low vision while the crewmates have a greater vision. There is no reporting of bodies and no emergency meetings called. Imposters must reveal themselves at the beginning of the game! Call a meeting or vent in the cafeteria for everyone to see. Crewmates win by finishing all their tasks! Be sure to hide and not get killed by the imposter!

Usually, the rules consist of no sabotaging. O2 and reactor sabotage make the game for the imposter too easy since they need to be fixed in an allocated amount of time to win.

However, sabotaging lights is fair! This makes it a bit difficult for the crewmates to see but it can easily be fixed at whatever point of the game. Sabotaging communications is also fair game. It makes it difficult for both the imposters and the crewmates. On one hand, crewmates will have to fix it in order to know where their tasks are. But at the same time, no one can check the cameras or use the admin table to know where everyone is located.

3 words only

In this mode, you're only allowed to say three words per meeting. No more than 3 words are allowed. You can say three words at once to make a sentence or use each word at a separate time during the discussion. This means that every word you say will play a big role in the discussions. Choose your words wisely.

Have fun playing these game modes with your friends!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
