"American Horror Story": Every Season Ranked

It was 2011 when Ryan Murphy introduced us to his terrifying new world. He's given us 6 complete American Horror Stories that we just can not look away from. His ability to create a world that is bone chill horror and also makes you fall in love with these deadly characters. However not every season has been to die for and here's my ranking of all the six seasons from okay to amazing.

*If you have not seen AHS please do not continue reading as spoilers are ahead* Head over to Netflix because the first five season are now streaming.

6. Hotel

This season had great potential, it was based off of an American serial killer who built a hotel to lure, torture, kill and dispose of his victims. Then they threw in vampires, ghosts, and a demon baby. Honestly if it was just the serial killers and ghost it would have been a lot more enjoyable to watch. Lady Gaga was the only thing that made me like the vampires. This season brought back some previous characters, had a lot of love stories, and had a great ending.

5. Freak Show

To me this season was just not scary. I guess if you're afraid of clowns then this probably is, but after hearing Twisty's backstory I kind of felt sorry for the guy. It was good entertainment, which is why it's not last, and it also had no confusing plot lines. But listening to Bette and Dot argue, watching Dandy whine every episode he was in and then Mordrake appearing. It was the season where we learned that all of the season are connected, it was also the season where Jessica Lange left us.

4. Coven

This season had witches, voodoo, New Orleans, and rising from the dead. Coven had the best one-liners and comebacks of any season, but there were some moments like with Legba and the witch hunters that didn't quite fit. There was so much backstabbing and girl fights that gave the show a youthful glow. It was also the last time every great AHS actor we love were together. You couldn't help but love Nan and feel Queenie's anger. You wanted for Madison to get what she deserved along with Fiona. When Misty dies a little of you dies because we thought she was the next supreme. All though we should have seen it was Cordelia all along. You rooted for these witches, and everyone got what they deserved in the end, well except Nan and Misty.

3. Asylum

Okay the reason this is number three is because of Dr. Arden and those aliens. The "raspers" I still do not understand their purpose in this show, also what was with the aliens? Kit, Lana, Bloodyface, Pepper, and Sister Jude are some of the best characters of the entire show. This is what Ryan Murphy does best, he makes he empathize for some of his most twisted characters like bloodyface. You rooted when Lana escaped and brought down Briarcliff, cried when you learned about Kit and Sister Jude, felt somewhat justified about Dr. Arden and Sister Mary Eunice.

2. My Roanoke Nightmare

THANK YOU RYAN MURPHY. You have brought AHS back to her former glory and have scared the living hell out of me during each episode. I just hope the big episode six twist is that Evan Peters isn't in this season.

1. Murder House

This is gold, this is perfection. The only fault is that this story didn't continue. I just want to know if Violet forgives Tate, where is the AntiChrist, and did anyone ever live there again? I could go on about every amazing part of this season but you could just go watch it on Netflix.

Season 7 is renewed for 2017 and I can't wait.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
