I’m the kind of person whose closet is a wash of white in the spring and summer months and a dark hole of black in the fall and winter. I’m typically more of a minimalist. Don’t get me wrong, I have my share of cool statement pieces, but seriously, just hand me a white v-neck and jeans, and I’m a happy girl. Added bonus: white makes your tan pop like crazy! I’m LOL-ing right now because I’m typing this is white nail polish.
I just want to let you beautiful people out there in on my favorite trend for these sunny months. Here are some ideas to get your white on, courtesy of yours truly!
1. White dress with white sandals
Need a good pool to dinner look? Here you go ladies! A lightweight, breezy sundress and some strappy sandals can easily take you from a leisurely day at the pool to a sunset dinner on a restaurant patio.
2. White t-shirt and white jeans
Alright, so this is by far my favorite thing to wear this summer. Let’s say it’s a little toasty outside, but you’ll be inside most of the day degrees. Bada bing bada boom, let's whip out a yummy soft tee (I prefer the v-neck or scoop-neck variety) and some jeans. Here is a great example of a white tee to buy! Madewell has frequent sales, so always keep you eyes open.
3. White two-piece set

Are you one of those people who spend hours on end picking out an outfit? This is basically designed for you. A white two-piece set is an easy option to just grab out of the closet. Toss on some gold bangles or possibly a jacket if you might be cold and you are set for the night!

Like I said, currently typing this with white finger nails. Let me tell you, you will not regret this decision. The white against your tan fingers will look AMAZE! Doing a lot of hands-on outdoorsy activities this summer? Try gel polish, it’ll last upwards of two weeks!
5. White swim wear
Picture this: laying back on a cushy chaise, sippin’ on an ice-cold lemonade, looking smokin’ in an all white bikini. And what is this now? Looks like hottie in the navy swim trunks is eyeing you from across the pool. Thank you white bikini, thank you. Here’s some inspo for you!
