Sonic Scoop spoke with producer Dave Tozer on the creation of the song. This is a really straightforward, minimal arrangement, he added. Piano, vocals, a few robots, a few synths, and some Moog bass are all that are present.
John's singing carries all of the weight. Then I used the TC Helicon Voice Live and an Eventide piece to harmonies a few of his vocals so they sounded robotic. The results from The Voice Live were fantastic.
