Trivium's Ember to Inferno is the debut album from American heavy metal band Trivium. It was released on October 14, 2003 on Lifeforce Records. The album features elements of both thrash metal and metalcore.
The album features:
Matt Heafy – vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar
Brent Young – bass
Travis Smith – drums
Jason Suecof – producer, mixing, engineer
This album has many strengths including the lead guitar work, the unique song structures, and the overall heaviness of each track. The weaknesses of the album are the relatively poor production value and Heafy's vocals which are poorly developed. His screaming is more annoying than heavy and his cleans are very average.
