At this point in the semester, everyone is experiencing challenging projects, papers, and end of the year assignments. It is a stressful time of the year, one when you may put your homework before everything else. Cats know how to overcome these rough days because, let's face it, cats know how to live life. Here are ten tips from the masters on how to have a better day.
1. Get some love and attention.
Go find a friend, boyfriend, or family and spend some quality time with them. They may remind you why today is actually a good day.
2. Learn something new.
It may even surprise you, and it will for sure change the subject. I mean, who knew cats were afraid of bananas?
3. Get outside.
You can appreciate what's going on around you, and maybe even have some fun. It's spring time and you should not solely chain yourself to your desk, but have some fun, too.
4. Take a nap.
Being short on sleep will only make things seem worse. Do yourself a favor and get some shut eye!
5. Eat something you love.
Chocolate can actually turn any day around, plus it can give you a quick boost of energy.
6. Read something light or something that makes you happy.
This is a luxury so many college students are not afforded. A good book can transport you to another place for a while, and leave you feeling refreshed.
7. Dance like no one is watching.
Physical activity, in general, has been proven to reduce stress and focus the mind. So put your hands in the air so you just won't care.
8. Meet new people
It may be scary at first, but it always leads to a good conversation, and at the very least you made a friend.
9. Explore and be adventurous.
Exploration of you local area or somewhere new can be exciting and fun.
10. If all else fails...
Just be grumpy for a day. It is okay to have a bad day, as long as that bad day does not drag out into several bad days.
I hope this helps -- and I swear, guys, I'm not Sheldon Cooper,
