Does anyone here have a dog, cat, bird, horse, whatever?! Even though animals have their own distinct features and actions apart from humans, they too have their little cute ways of doing things as we do! It may include the way they bark, stare at us, run, walk, or eat. If you're interested to see if your pet and mine have something in common, look no further than my short list below!

1. She follows me to the bathroom.

I am a college student, and like most students, I live on campus! This means that I spend A LOT of time away from my real home. However, when I return for a holiday or just to wash clothes, my dog becomes obsessed with me! It never fails, usually right when I walk through the door, I have to use the bathroom. And what does my dog Diamond do? She follows me in there, even watches me sit down and urinate. At used to be annoyed with this, but I eventually got used to it and embraced it. It actually makes me feel good to know that she missed me that much.

2. She waits for me to give her a treat.

Every...single...day, this little dog of mine ANTICIPATES a doggy treat. Usually, I can tell that she wants one, she looks back and forth at me and the place we have them stored. However, on some days, I am in my own world and she basically reminds me that she wants a treat. She will come get me, then walk me to the treat area. She's funny!

3. She stares at me while I eat.

When I first go Diamond back in 2012, I hated that she harassed me while I ate. But i quickly got used to it; it's the cutest thing to me now. she never whines, just sits down and stares with her puppy dog eyes.

4. She initiates back rubs.

I can't remember exactly when I started giving Diamond back rubs with my feet, but she loves them! Whenever she sees me on a chair or my bed with my feet dangling, she walks over and turns her back toward me; this signifies that she wants some TLC.

5. She gets very nervous about getting baths.

Everyone knows that dogs can get a bit smelly. It used to be very hard to even get her to come in the bedroom whenever she heard the bath water running (she's very smart). However, I am slightly smarter. I simply lure her in with one of her doggy treats. Once she goes after it, I shut the door.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
