She is back and greater than ever! Although Adele has not released an album since February 22, 2011(it's been 4 years, 8 months, and 14 days (but who's counting right?)) she just released "25" and it's almost like she never left. To say it is an amazing, well-crafted album would be an understatement. If she managed to get us through our breakups and hard times back in 2011, we knew she wouldn't let us down this time around. Even when Adele told the world what the album was about, we all fell even more in love.

25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realizing. And I’m sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened. -Adele

When I first listened to the album, I expected a majority (all) of the songs to make me cry. Actually, the first time I listened to "When We Were Young" I did cry (tears of joy because Adele was finally back). The lyrics alone are amazing, heart breaking, and gratifying all in one. Every song evokes a different feeling, some of nostalgia, some of pain, some happiness even (surprising, I know). But, I decided to share a few of my favorite lyrics:

-If this is my last night with you hold me like I'm more than just a friend. Give me a memory I can use. Take me by the hand while we do what lovers do. It matters how this ends, cause what if I never love again?// All I Ask

-I feel my life is flashing by and all I can do is watch and cry. I miss the air, I miss my friends, I miss my mother, I miss it when life was a party to be thrown, but that was a million years ago// A Million Years Ago

-And if I'm not the one for you, you've gotta stop holding me like you do// Water Under the Bridge

-Sometimes I feel lonely in the arms of your touch, but I know that's just me cause nothing ever is enough// River Lea

-But I want to live and not just survive// Love In The Dark

I could go on for days, but if you have not listened to this album on repeat since the day it was released, you are not utilizing your time properly! Go pick up a copy, buy it on iTunes, do whatever it takes to get your hands on this album!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
