In This Article:

These are my personal favorites, I hope you find some new worship songs to listen to!

Here's My Heat by Lauren Daigle

This kind of an older song, meaning its been out for a couple year now, but I still LOVE it! Everytime it comes on in a shuffle I find myself seriously jamming to it. I love the lyrics about truly giving your heart to God and letting him take control of your life because that is what christians should strive to do!

Thy Will by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family

This song is truly one of my favorite worship songs. The lyrics are beautiful and it has helped me through hard times where I needed to just trust God's plan for my life and let it be.

Praise You In This Storm by Casting Crowns

This song. THIS SONG. It has such a good meaning and really hits on something I feel like most Christians struggle with. It talks about praising God in the hard times of our life and I know that sometimes I forget to really PRAISE him when things aren't the best, but we just have to keep the faith that he will work it out for the better.

Seasons by Hillsong Worship

This song uses such elegant and beautiful language to teach a wonderful message. One line, in particular, that stands out to me is " Though the winter is long Even richer the harvest it brings. Though my waiting prolongs even greater your promise for me like a seed. I believe that my season will come. " It really conveys the message of pursuing through your trying seasons with faith that God has such a wonderful season in store for your life!

Fear Is A Liar by Zach Williams

This song really resonates with me because fear and self doubt are things I struggle with daily. It reminds me that although I am not perfect I have a God who sees me as beautiful and worthy, and what more could you ask for?

You Say by Lauren Daigle

" And when I don't belong, oh, You say I am yours." This line really helps me to push through my feelings of self-doubt and anxiousness. The entire song is filled with powerful lines just like this one.

Unstoppable God by Elevation Worship

This song is truly a BOP. Three minutes all about how powerful our God is and what he can do? I LOVE it!

Even If by MercyMe

I love this song because it talks about putting your hope in God even when things don't go the way you plan because he, ultimately, has a greater plan for your life.

Who You Say I Am by Hillsong Worship

" I Am Who You Say I Am" What other line could be more powerful ? We are who God created us to be and this song truly reaffirms that for me in so many ways.

Who Am I by Casting Crowns

This has to be my all time favorite christian song. I cry everytime I listen to it because it truly makes me wonder, who am I? Who am I and what do I have to offer that God would risk so much and do so much for ME, someone who is not deserving of anything he does for me.

Because He Lives ( Amen ) by Matt Maher

I vividly remember the first time I heard this song. I was in worship at a Fuge summer camp I was attending with my youth group. It really took me back and I couldn't help but cry because I loved the original Because He lives sung by the Gather Trio when I was little, and this version just adds to the magic of that song! I truly can only face tomorrow because I know that my God is alive within me!

All My Hope by Crowder

I love this song for a multitude of reasons, but I'll just give the top two. First, I love the style of song. I was raised in a southern baptist church and it takes me back to singing out of the hymnal book with just a piano playing and I love it! Second, the message it beautiful! My favorite line is " Thank God

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
