By now, we've all heard about the new place to go in NYC. DŌ, the edible cookie dough cafe has been located in Greenwich Village, NYC for about a month or so now. Just recently, Insider, visited the dessert cafe and it's been nuts ever since!

So, on my last trip to NYC, I decided to take a chance and visit DŌ . And let me tell you, it was nothing short of dough-tastic!

Upon arrival, we were directed across the street to a line. Yes, a line. To my surprise, it was about a half an hour wait from the time I got on line to the time I entered the store however, there was probably about an hour to two-hour wait in line behind me. This dough is so popular that while on line, we struck up a conversation with a man from Washington D.C. who was bringing some home to his daughters (if this guy doesn't get best dad award for 2017, his children need to get with the program!).

Once inside the shop, there was a large open window in front where you could see all the cookie dough being made, which was actually pretty sweet. It's always nice to know that you're not eating food coming out of some random machine and that it is in fact, actually what they say it is.

The decor was just as sweet. Lighting fixtures made to look like whisks and brightly colored pink chairs made it into an ice cream shop that wasn't actually an ice cream shop. You're allowed to try three flavors and the options are endless. Cookie dough sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, cakes, brownies, AND they're cookies were so soft. Equal to heaven in your mouth.

Some information about the cookie dough, when frozen it is good for up to three months (which means if you grab a huge container, which you should, and want to treat yourself to a yummy cookie dough dessert in three months, you totally can). Future you will thank you.

So on your next trip to NYC, make sure to make a stop at DŌ and try one of their amazing selections! You'll be doughlighted that you did!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
