I bet when you broke up with my bestfriend you never thought she would be happy about it. Truth is, at first she wasn't. At first, I thought you had broke that girl. She was a mess. I was the one that had to listen to her cry while you "got your space." I was the one that was responsible for cheering her up because you brought her down. I was the one that had to talk her out of texting you because she missed you. Finally, after it was all said and done, I got her out of the house. I introduced her to new people, new places, new experiences. It was then when you realized you had messed up. Seeing her happy again killed you. So of course, you had the decency to try to take that happiness from her. But guess what. There's no way I would let that happen. Breaking up with that girl was a big mistake.

She deserves that happiness. She deserves to smile. She deserves someone to tell her she's beautiful everyday because she is, inside and out. She deserves to live her life to the fullest with nothing holding her back. All the things you couldn't give her. One day, she will find a man, not a little boy. He will treat her like the queen she is. He will go to church with her, take her on dates, and buy her flowers. He will never need space away from her. He won't be able to imagine a life without her. Just think. You could have had that. You didn't think she made you happy at the time, but boy she thought you hung the moon. In a way, I feel bad for you. You have to live knowing that you gave up a one-in-a-million girl. Honestly, I couldn't thank you enough. Thank you for showing her everything she doesn't need in a boy. Thank you for passing her over to me. I am forever grateful that you gave me my bestfriend. So yes, I bet you never thought when you broke up with her she would be happy about it, but that's the best thing you've ever done for that girl. I've never seen her smile so big.
