2016 was an exciting and interesting year. Shows were revived, long-standing championship droughts ended, our country made history for having an incredibly pathetic presidential election, video challenges continued to spread across social media, and of course the best memories of the year we created ourselves. Who else is looking forward to what 2017 will bring?

1. Cubs win the World Series for the first time in 108 years

2. "This Is Us" airs and becomes one of the best TV shows since "Parenthood"

3. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is released and Harry Potter fanatics finally get a glimpse of Harry's life after Hogwarts

4. The much anticipated "Gilmore Girls" Revival is released


5. The birth and death of "Pokemon Go"

6. Jane the Virgin is finally not a virgin (about time)

7. Cavs finally win the NBA title for the first time ever ending Cleveland's 52 year championship drought

8. Michael Phelps becomes the most decorated Olympian

9. "Fuller House" releases Seasons 1 and 2 and now we're all anxiously awaiting for Season 3

It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
