9 Things We've All Learned From Grey's Anatomy

1. We all need a person.

In order to survive in life we all need a person just like Meredith and Christina. Without a person we'd be dead in a ditch or put in the asylum. No matter what sticky situation you're in, you will need your person. So be someone's freaking person or make them yours whether they like it or not.

2. Dance like nobody's watching.

Meredith has taught us that you need to shake what your mama gave you no matter the situation. Are you sad? Dance like you've never danced before. She taught us to literally shake it off shake it off!

3. Overcome your crap.

Stop being a sourpuss and overcome your crap. Stop moping around like your problem is the only problem in the world right now and deal with it whether you like it or not.

4. Avery is not photo shopped.

We've all thought Jackson was fake because nobody is that good looking. We've all learned that he is real and when I mean real I mean he is real nice to look at.

5. We are all flawed.

As McDreamy says, we all are flawed and we all make mistakes. Whether we're a neurosurgeon or an accountant, we all make mistakes because we all are human. You are no better than anyone else so step down from your high horse.

6. Crazy is the norm.

Who cares if you're crazy? Grey's Anatomy has taught us that being crazy is the norm. Have a few screws lose up there? So what? If you're not crazy you're not being yourself. They've taught us to embrace the crazy in ourselves.

7. Bailey is your spirit animal.

Bailey taught you that even though you're short you can kick butt. Size has nothing to do with how strong or tough you are. Bailey proved that even though you're small you can take charge and be the one people fear.

8. Find yourself a Karev.

Stop wasting your time on guys who are douches and find yourself a Karev. Karev may be one of the biggest jerks but he is one of the best guys you will ever know. Grey's Anatomy taught you to stop messing around and find yourself a Karev.

9. Secrets are never a good thing.

As you can tell by watching the show that secrets do nothing but get your child taken away and you lose friends. Have an secrets right now you're hiding? Well let them out of the bag. They've taught us that secrets are the worst things and that everyone has them. Who cares if you ate the last cookie 6 years ago? Let the dang secret out because you'll feel so much better or you will get the silent treatment. Either way let them out.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
