Ah, the fashion world, one of the most prestigious clubs you can be in.

If you want to rock it, there are many things to know and many things to make sure you do not do. You must make sure to not make silly mistakes because others are sure to not forget your errors or fashion faux pas. Here are nine tips to know to master the fashion world, and keep you on Anna's good side:

1. Louis Vuitton is not the same as Louboutin.

Louis Vuitton, famous for their LV pattern on bags, trunks, shoes, everything. Christian Louboutin, most famous for those beautiful heels you see with their signature red bottom. Yes, they sound similar, no they are not the same thing.

Louboutin's.

2. Givenchy is not pronounced "give-en-chee."

Say it with me... "zhiv-on-shee."

3. Just because Gigi Hadid rocked it doesn't mean you need to.

Yes...we all saw how great she looked in what she was wearing. Yes, it was a pajama set. No, if you show up in the same pajama set and heels, it will not be considered fashionable.

4. Tone it down.

Less can totally and in most cases be more. Glitz and glitter are cool if it's your thing, but if you don't have to flash glitz to master the fashion world. Simplicity can be the highest form of elegance.

5. Know the staple "fashion weeks."

The Big Four: Paris, New York, Milan, London.

6. Know what the Met Gala is.

If you love fashion, the Met Gala is your Super Bowl. Know it, love it, live for it. I know I do. And yes, Blake is the queen of it.

7. Be aware of trends and culture, but don't over apply what you've learned.

*Understands small a*s sunglasses will just never look good on my face, no matter how "in" the Kardashians and Kanye have made them right now.*

8. If it's French, you probably are looking at silent letters.

As an example, the French don't pronounce H in Hermés. So be careful in your pronunciation of common French brand names.

9. Anna's word is law.

That is that.

Good luck, and of course remember, "Trendy is the last stage before tacky." — Karl Lagerfeld

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
