With summer coming to an end, I'm starting to get more and more excited for fall. Not only because I'm tired of sweating while walking to class, but because there's so much to look forward to in the fall. So if you're a basic girl like me, you'll probably enjoy this list.
Halloween Oreos.
It's a known fact that the orange cream is better than the original, right?
Leggings for days.
It's finally cool enough weather to be able to eat, sleep and breathe in leggings. Get pumped because leggings can finally be its own fashion category again.
Baggy flannels.
We don't just love them because they can go over any outfit, but also because they will hide those few extra pounds we shamelessly put on during the holidays.
Halloween isn't just a day -- it's a week.
One of the first things I learned in college was that Halloween is celebrated more than just on Oct. 31, and more than one trip to Party City or the Halloween store is necessary.
Bonfires.
Get ready to bring out the blankets, s'mores, music and beer. Spending an evening by a fire with a large group of friends is a must-do this season.
PSL.
Don't know what it stands for? Maybe you're not as basic as you say you are. Pumpkin spice lattes are one of the most popular drinks for the fall. I won't stop there. Pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies are also some of my favorite fall treats.
These boots are made for walking.
Say goodbye to the Jack Rogers and Tory Burch sandals, because it's time to pull your boots from out of their hiding place in the back of your closet. Whether you have combat boots, riding boots, bean boots or booties, it's finally time to wear them again.
Halloween movies.
This one should be self-explanatory. Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus -- shall I go on?
Pumpkin patches.
Dress up in your favorite fall outfit and snap a picture among all the pumpkins. You know you're already planning the perfect Instagram caption.
