Quotes are something that everybody loves. They can lift you up, serve as an inspiration, and spark an interest in something. Ever since I was younger I always looked up quotes when I was feeling down about something. This year there are a few specific quotes that I want to live by as I walk through 2018.

1. "Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed it means the damage doesn't control our lives." -Akshay Dubey

This quote is first because healing is something that I work on every year. Between losing my dad a few years ago, and one of my good friends just recently, I have learned that healing is a process and it should not take over our lives.

2. "Some people arrive and make such a beautiful impact on your life, you can barely remember what life was like without them." -Anna Taylor

There are many people that I met in 2017 that have made such a great impact on my life and I can't wait to go through the next year with them by my side.

3. "The character and quality of your life is forged in little moments" -Paul David Tripp

This is a short but beautiful quote reminding us that life is made up of a bunch of tiny moments.

4. "Even if you go for it and it doesn't work out, you still win. You still had the guts enough to head straight into something that frightened you. That type of bravery will take you places." -The Better Man Project

This quote explains itself. It is important to take risks because you never know how they will impact your life.

This is so important to remember. Every place that I have been has impacted me in so many different ways and has changed that way I live and look at life.

I love this quote because I am a worrier and it just reminds me to take a step back and place my trust in God with my life.

God's grace is everywhere if we have God in us.

God loves us with His whole heart even when we experience shortcomings and trials.

God has our back when the enemy is against us.
