Books are doorways into another world. They weave a story to entrap you and distract you from the life around you. One of my favorite past times is reading so here are a list of nine novels you need to read this summer.
1. "The Creeping" by Alexandra Sirowy
Best friends Stella and Jamie go out to pick fruit when they're six, but when Stella returns home without Jamie the town is in a frenzy and Stella mysteriously can't recall what happened. Now, 12 years later, they still haven't heard a thing about what happened that day until a girl that resembled Jamie is found murdered. This novel offers many twists in what once appeared to be an innocent town.

Fans of "Lost" are sure to love this novel. Trapped on an island without any memory of getting onto it and with no way to escape, Charley is out of luck. Amy is quickly gathered to be a part of the resistance against Dorothy who returned to Oz to gain power and wreak havoc on the city.
