We've done it. We've gotten through the first semester and we're almost done for the summer. But, the week before Spring Break can last an eternity and you'll find yourself thinking these thoughts.
1. "Why am I so tired?"
Like I said, we've been through 3/4 of the school year now. If tiredness hasn't been transformed into a personality trait at this point, you're a lucky one.
2. "ANOTHER exam??"
This is prime exam time for every professor. They want to get the exams out of the way so you don't have to worry about them on vacation. You'll just have to worry about taking three exams a day for five days.
3. "This has been the longest week of my life."
Odds are, you're thinking this and it's only Tuesday.
4. "Why didn't I go to the gym more often?"
So that New Year's Resolution definitely didn't stick, and now you're paying the price. Time to go sit on the beach in your underdeveloped beach body!
5. "Why do I have so much homework?"
Professors are trying to squeeze as much material in as possible in the next week so they feel better about what they didn't get done at the beginning of the semester. You're about to be overloaded with work for the next five days.
6. "It's almost summer!"
Well, yes and no. You've still got at least 2 1/2 months to go until you're free for the summer, but props to you for wishful thinking.
7. "My life is a mess."
Nothing makes you feel the existential dread like the weight of exams, quizzes, projects, homework, and work study all adding up at the same time!
8. "Is my education really worth it?"
Yes, it is. Get up, go to class, get that degree, then spend a week on the beach.
