8 Things To Do In Lancaster County

While you may not think that there's anything to do in Lancaster, there is actually so much going on! When the weather is nice, you can spend a day shopping, mini-golfing or going to a baseball game. Check out this list of eight things to do in Lancaster County, whether you're a native looking for something new to try, or a tourist visiting for a few days!

1. Go see a Lancaster Barnstormers game.

Spring Training starts April 14! Tickets are $7 for a lawn seat, $12 for a field box and $13 for a dugout box. Visit their website for more information.

2. See a show at Fulton Theatre.

Located on 12 North Prince Street in the city, Fulton Theatre always has popular plays being performed. "Sister Act" is their current MainStage show, and "Ghost" will begin on April 19.

3. Play miniature golf.

From Lost Treasure on Lincoln Highway, to Overlook Falls on Fruitville Pike, there are so many mini-golf options to go to with your friends in family when the weather is nice. To see all of the options in Lancaster County, visit their website.

4. Go to Dutch Wonderland.

"It's the Kingdom for Kids!" If you have any younger kids in your family or are babysitting for the summer, take them to Dutch Wonderland. It's so much fun to see them having fun and it's a very nice park. Visit the website for more information, to purchase tickets and for park times. They open for weekends only on April 30 and for the season on May 28.

5. Shopping at the outlets.

Route 30 just off of 896 is home to both Rockvale and Tanger Outlets in Lancaster. Between the two, there are so many options of stores to shop at. Also in the area is Target, Kohl's, Bed Bath & Beyond and so many more! If you're in Lancaster County and need to get your shopping fix, Route 30 is the place to go.


6. Jump around at Sky Zone Trampoline Park.

Sky Zone is fairly new to Lancaster and is so much fun! It's on Hempstead Road and people of all ages can come here. Visit this site for more information, pricing and to make a reservation to jump.

7. Enjoy the Turkey Hill Experience.

Located in Columbia on Linden Street, at the Turkey Hill Experience you get to learn how they make their ice cream and invent and taste your own flavor that you can make in their Taste Lab. 8. Visit Kitchen Kettle Village.

Kitchen Kettle is a historic Pennsylvania Dutch village that has shops, restaurants and much more. There's also a canning kitchen where you can get delicious jams, jellies and dips! Kitchen Kettle is located in Intercourse, Lancaster County. For more information go to their website.
