1. Screaming at the top of your lungs when Ed posted on his social media accounts after 2 years.
Immediately liking and sharing the posts...I'm unable to contain my excitement! Freaking out again when he announced that new songs would be coming on January 6th and being so happy that the New Year would be starting off so well
2. Listening to "Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You" on repeat.
Seeing the links to stream the two singles on Ed's Twitter and screaming again, then proceeding to play them on repeat the entire night.
3. Pre-Ordering Divide the second it becomes available.
Setting an alarm for midnight and buying it the second it was available on iTunes. Playing the first two singles on repeat again because they came with the purchase
4. Getting the notification about "How Would You Feel" being released and bawling.
Immediately listening and high key bawling. I called it for my wedding song in however many years no matter what my future partner has to say about it.
5. Watching his GRAMMYS performance.
Singing along at the top of my lungs and freaking out about the album coming out so soon.
6. Watching the video for "Eraser."
Trying to explain to my friend that yes, Ed does rap in some of his songs ("The Man," anyone?) and that it's amazing.
7. Freaking out when the whole album is released
The usual...more screaming. Playing the whole thing on repeat for the rest of night and the next few days. Dancing around the room to "Galway Girl," "New Man," "What Do I Know," "Barcelona," "Bibia Be Ye Ye," and "Nancy Mulligan." Crying to "Perfect," "Happier," "Supermarket Flowers," and "Save Myself." Getting weird looks and not caring at all. Ed has blessed my life with more beautiful music so I couldn't care less about you being all judgmental.
8. Wondering when the hell the concert is...
When's the North American tour and where can I get tickets? Take my money. Take all of it. I mean, you've stolen my heart three times over, Ed, what else is left?
