8 Songs You Should Add To Your Playlist This Week
IDownloadBlog

I love music. I find a few songs that I fall in love with and can't seem to stop listening to them. Now I'm not saying that's a problem, but sometimes I need someone to push me in order to switch up the songs on my weekly playlist. Here is my push to you, with 8 songs that definitely should be on your playlist this week. This playlist is a range of different types of music, so hopefully you can find at least one that you enjoy.

1. Somebody Else - The 1975

I will always be obsessed with this song and this band. The 1975 brings a type of music to the table that is so unique. No one song is like anything I hear on the radio these days. While, 'Somebody Else' might be a bit of a downer, it's one of those that is perfect for a rainy day or while you're trying to fall asleep.

2. Paris - The Chainsmokers

Ask anyone that knows me. I HAVE NOT STOPPED PLAYING THIS. Literally so obsessed it's just SO good. No words. Just listen.

3. Thumbs - Sabrina Carpenter

This song is not only one that gets your foot tapping but it has a good meaning behind it as well. Sabrina is an artist I happened to stumble upon while getting lost on YouTube and I'm happy that I did.

4. Take What You Want - One Ok Rock (feat. 5 Seconds of Summer)

I've been an avid fan of 5 Seconds of Summer for years now. When they toured this past summer they had a Japanese rock band by the name of One Ok Rock open up for them. They have a really good rock sound (this song is great to work out to) and having these two bands join together to create a song was the best thing to ever happen.

5. When I'm Gone - Before You Exit

One of my favorite bands and one of my favorite songs. Not only is this music video aesthetically pleasing (seriously go watch it on YouTube, it's so good) but the song is incredible and I really recommend you give it a listen. Once you're done listening to this song I also recommend you listen to their 'All The Lights EP'.

6. Think About It - John Lindahl

I had the pleasure to see this guy preform live when I flew out to Los Angeles this past November, not only will you love this song but you'll want to see him preform live. He's honestly just as good offline as he is online. This song has a really good groove to it that is perfect for when you just want to sit back and relax.

7. At Night (I Think About You) - MNEK

My brother introduced me to this song after he played it a few times when we were on vacation. It's now 4 months later and I'm still obsessed. It's more of a mix between pop and dance music and it's one that'll get you pumped and ready to go for the day.

8. No More Sad Songs - Little Mix (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)

A bop. This is a catchy pop tune that you'll find yourself humming to randomly throughout the day. Little Mix is made of four talented women from the UK and it's a nice balance to add rapper, MGK into this. If you're in a down mood don't play no more sad songs (ha ha get it) but instead play this one.

I hope you give these songs a listen and enjoy them as much as I do. Also, feel free to add your favorite songs on your playlist so I can give them a listen!

You can thank me later.

Seriously, you're welcome.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
