8 Signs You're Obsessed With Fall

September is officially upon us and everyone knows that when the first cool breeze graces your college campus, the most magical season has arrived. It's fall, y'all. As a Northerner living in Texas, there is no greater pain knowing the leaves are changing at home while I'm walking crawling across campus in 100 degrees of pure humidity. Even though I can't break out my coziest sweaters yet, I'm already obsessing over the most anticipated season. Here are eight signs you may be infatuated with fall, too.

1. You're already swapping out all your summer clothes

You know there's nothing better than putting on your comfiest sweater. It's something about getting wrapped up in wool that gets you in the mood for fall. No matter what the weather, you've already packed away all your jean shorts and swapped them out for your biggest sweaters.

2. Finding your nearest pumpkin patch

You're obsessed with everything pumpkin, so it's absolutely essential to pick out a real one. You go on an online mission to find the nearest pumpkin patch to choose your annual pumpkin. Your to-do list includes carving or painting it and baking the pumpkin seeds.

3. Splurging on a new pair of boots

You've already hit up those back to school sales to splurge on your greatest fall asset: boots. A must have fall fashion accessory, you have an absurd collection of boots. It's an essential part of your wardrobe and you have no shame.

4. Buying all the "fall" scented candles

The second Bath & Body Works emails you about their fall sale, you're headed out the door to buy the 3 for $30 candles. Smelling "Autumn Day" or "Cider Lane" instantly gives you those fall feels.

5. Watching an autumnal Movie/TV Show

Disney's Halloween marathon is your favorite part of October and you'll be sitting on your couch all week (in your fave sweater and eating or drinking pumpkin-flavored things, of course).

6. Posting a cheesy fall Instagram

Your Instagram is full of autumnal pictures. From taking selfies in the leaves to group pics with pumpkins, get ready to break out your flannels to take cute fall Instagrams with your bestie.

7. Making a "fall" themed Pinterest board

When fall hits, you immediately turn to Pinterest for inspiration. Pinterest supplies you with all the fall crafts you could possibly imagine. Confession: I started my fall Pinterest board in June.

8. Ordering the honorary PSL

The holy grail of fall is the PSL. When Starbucks introduces the PSL back on the menu, you are in line ordering your favorite drink. No matter what anyone says, you are in love with the PSL.

It may take the weather a little while to catch up, but once September 22 hits, it's officially autumn and all of the above actions are totally called for.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
