Here's Proof That Kathie Lee And Hoda Are Actually College Students
TODAY

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, the hosts of the fourth hour of "The Today Show," are basically the most fabulous pair of all time. Kathie Lee and Hoda stay classy while enjoying themselves in front of millions of viewers. Together, they have taken "The Today Show" to a whole new level of fun and entertainment. What I have noticed after watching them faithfully for the past three years, though, is that they are actually college students trapped in the bodies of these women. Here’s how I know.

1. They love their alcohol.

Every morning, Kathie Lee and Hoda start off their show with a different alcoholic drink. The week begins with Funday Monday -- then there’s Boozeday Tuesday, Winesday Wednesday, Thirstday Thursday, and finally Tryday Friday. Should I be ashamed that I didn’t even have to look these up? Anyway, this is a unique way to open the show, and now Kathie Lee and Hoda -- among many other things -- are known for their drinking habits. Much like college girls, Kathie Lee and Hoda love catching up with each other over a fun beverage.

2. They are up to date with all of the popular music.

During the opening of the show, Hoda sometimes has a segment called “iHoda” in which she reveals a new jam of hers. Kathie Lee is very hit or miss with this segment. Sometimes she loves the song and sometimes she’d rather be listening to one of her own CDs. Nonetheless, Kathie Lee and Hoda always know what’s being played on the radio.

3. They love to laugh.

You can find Kathie Lee and Hoda laughing throughout the entire show — at themselves, at each other or at Kathie Lee’s “Friday Funny” (a weekly joke that Kathie Lee tells, and much like iHoda, can be hit or miss). The pair knows not to take themselves too seriously, yet also knows when to settle down. As a college student myself, some days I laugh more than I study, and days like that are needed. Kathie Lee and Hoda bring the energy up so much when they are laughing.

4. They are in the know with all the gossip.

Kathie Lee and Hoda never miss anything big that happens with current events and celebrities. Many of their segments cover gossip and news about what is going on in the world. They love chatting about scandalous moments from award shows, reality TV shows like "The Bachelor" and celebrity breakups between (although I really think Hoda wanted Blake Shelton to be single again). No matter what it is, when it comes to gossip, Kathie Lee and Hoda probably know about it.

5. They take selfies.

Kathie Lee and Hoda enjoy taking selfies with each other and their guests. Kathie Lee and Hoda don’t appear to care about their fame — they are normal women who don’t mind taking selfies with anyone and everyone. Although Kathie Lee is not a fan of selfies sticks, that doesn't stop them from taking classic arm selfies.

6. They care more about their girlfriends than their boyfriends.

Each week they choose one of their fans to be their “Fan of the Week” and video chat with the fan on air. The “Fan of the Week” is usually female, and Kathie Lee and Hoda talk to her like a best friend. Also, each week on the show, they provide complete makeovers for two ladies — hair, makeup, clothes, the full deal. Kathie Lee and Hoda seem like the girls in college who care a lot more about their friends and sorority sisters than boys.

7. They are a dynamic duo.

There are definitely dynamic duos on every college campus — girls who always study together, eat together and go out together. Kathie Lee and Hoda are just that. They are one of the most well-known pairs in the world. Whether you prefer “Kathie Lee and Hoda” or “Hoda and Kathie Lee,” everyone will know who you are talking about.

8. They know how to have a good time.

There is not a single episode in which Kathie Lee and Hoda don’t have fun. While some of their segments are sad, their strength never waivers. They never care about what other people think about their dancing, facial expressions or outfits. They sing, they joke, they play games and they are grateful for everything.

Now that we’ve established that Kathie Lee and Hoda are college students, the invitation is open. Come hang out with us at The University of Tulsa, Kathie Lee and Hoda ! We would love to host the dynamic duo for a weekend of fun.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
