From Disney Channel "Pop Princess" to twerking on Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMA's, Miley Cyrus has never not been in the spotlight. Coming from Nashville, Tennessee, this southern belle has brought a whole new outlook on the average "California Celebrity", and has become wickedly successful with her music while maintaining a humble lifestyle, and for that Miley, we applaud you.
1. Her love for animals
Miley and Liam currently have six dogs living with them, mostly being all rescues. She is a huge advocate for rescuing animals at shelters and even visits local ones in California while making donations as well. Fun fact- she also has a pet pig named "Pig Pig".
2. Her relationship with Liam Hemsworth
While meeting on the set of their movie, "The Last Song", Cyrus and Hemsworth became infatuated with one another and began dating shortly after. They called off their engagement in 2013 but got back together January of 2016.
3. Her time on Hannah Montana
I don't know about you, But I grew up watching this show religiously. Although rumors speculated that it "ruined" Miley, this show was one of Disney's best shows and really influenced young girls to chase their dreams. Although i'm still concerned why a 30 year old man played her teenage brother..
4. Happy Hippie Foundation
This nonprofit organization was founded by Miley herself, and it helps fight homelessness regarding all people, especially LGBT youth.
5. Stays in touch with her roots
Unlike the majority of celebrities we know, Miley has not had plastic surgery or pretended she was someone she was not. She constantly brings in her country roots with her lifestyle and enjoys dressing comfortably regardless of what people think.
6. Her music
From her "Bangerz" album, to her new single "Malibu", Miley has such a variety of songs that almost anyone can relate to. I personally love her new single because it shows how content she is with her life right now.
7. She has matured
Although we have seen her do some crazy stuff in the past, Miley has settled down her "party lifestyle" and really focused on her relationship with Liam and her family. With an interview with Sirius XM radio, she even admitted to have stopped smoking weed, and wanted to focus on clearing her head and finding herself with her music
8. Her relationship with her family
Miley has always been a family person. With three brothers and two sisters, there is never a boring time in the household to say the least. With her younger sister Noah launching her music career, Miley constantly brags about how awesome and talented her sister is, even noting a little bit of jealousy.
