In celebration of the release of her new album, "Hopeless Romantic," I shed light on just why Michelle Branch is an absolute queen.
Shall we begin?
1.) Her music was literally my childhood.
It's also stood the test of time. I still rock out to 'The Spirit Room'.
2.) This was one of the very first CD's I ever got. "Tuesday Morning" will always be my jam. I have legitimate flashbulb memories of childhood listening to this album.
3.) Branch always delivers lyrics that hit you like this.
"Wow! this song is relatable. Wait...why am I crying?" In the best way possible.
4.) When she performed "Goodbye To You" on "Buffy."
Literally ALL of those feels.
5.) I can't be the only one who lip-syncs to this song when it comes on.
That chorus is begging for a sing-along.
6.) Her songs just get me, you know?
The number of times I've exclaimed "YAS!" to a Michelle Branch song is kinda embarrassing.
7.) The entirety of this instant classic.
SO. MANY. JAMS.
8.) She is the queen of pop-rock jams. Let it be known.
It's been a long wait, but this new album is nothing short of spectacular.
Love you Michelle Branch! Rock on.
