While many of us do still have TVs, Netflix has transformed the at-home viewing experience so that a cable subscription is not necessary. Long gone are the days where one needs to endure what feels like hours of commercial breaks separating scarce minutes of the actual show. Netflix has found the ultimate hack to the viewing experience by eliminating commercials completely so that we can watch in peace.

Netflix accounts can go for as little as $7.99 a month, which amounts to approximately $96 a year. For the amount of movies and TV shows that are available to you for that price, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. Depending on what shows you watch, it’s also possible that having this account means you can easily cancel your cable subscription.
3. It enables your binge-watching habits
For binge-watchers like myself, Netflix is a beautiful reality that makes dreams come true. They have seasons available at a time so you don’t need to wait weeks between episodes. In addition, once you finish an episode, the next one will automatically begin seconds later so you don’t even need to push a button. You can just sit there and get your entertainment for hours.
4. Streaming quality is always on point
Personally, I can’t enjoy watching something if it’s not in HD. As if it were handed to us by the angels above, Netflix offers all its programs in high quality so that we don’t have to suffer.

Netflix has so many perks and really knows how to facilitate my binge-watching ways. Now that I think about it, I can’t even remember why I’m still signed up for cable! Television has been revolutionized, and Netflix has won the game.
