8 Of the Best Eats In Pullman

Pullman is one of the finest cities in the PNW. Being the small town it is in the middle of nowhere, us students know each and every square mile of it like the back of our hand. We are aware of all the best places to eat after a long night, and all of the right places to go when we just need to get off campus. Here are a few places that just might ring a bell for all of us college students...

1. The Breakfast Club. For those of us who attend Wazzu, you probably know what I'm referring to when I talk about this breakfast hot spot. Being located 2o minutes away from campus, we still make the trek out there after a long night in Pullman. Many of us can't even indicate why it's so delicious, but the constant 2-hour wait sure says it all about its placement on the popularity list for restaurants, especially on Dad's weekend.

2. Munchy'z. OK, for all of those who go out on Greek Row at night, we all know where to stop if were feeling hungry after yet again, a long night in Pullman. My freshman year consisted of my friends and I bringing back those hot dogs with cream cheese (if you've never had it you can't judge because they are inevitably fantastic.) Anyway, it's always an excellent choice on a Friday night.

3. Einstein's Bagels. Yup, the classic run to Global Scholars market at 12 am because they're the only place open on campus where you can grab a bite to eat late at night. Well, to whoever works there every night I am so sorry because you probably have the most obnoxious customers coming in every night at 1 a.m when you just want to crawl up and go to sleep behind the counter.

4. Domino's Pizza. I'm sure you all knew this was coming whether you are a daily customer or not. But how could you not love Dominoes? They deliver late, and they have a full packed menu of greatness. I don't know about you guys, but even if it's a Tuesday night I know at least one of my friends is looking to get a pizza for one of their deals they have going on at the time. So underrated.

5. Porch Light Pizza. Alright, a bit of a step up from Domino's quality wise. But how bomb is that pizza that is customized just for you. And they cooked it right in front of you and everything. Is it not just the best thing ever to bring it up to the water tower and binge out with all your buddy's? I think so.

6. Red Bento. OK, getting a little more sketch here. But you can never go wrong with their fried rice. So freaking good. And what about that teriyaki chicken and that "Bento" plate? Difficult to beat, especially when you're on that college budget and seriously need to eat out cause you are so sick of campus food.

7. The Foundry. One of the more upper class places to eat in Pullman. It is so trendy that you feel like your usual Pullman gray suit doesn't live up to the formality of the restaurant. This is one of the places that you usually can't afford on a college budget, so it's somewhere you would go on Dad's weekend when you can have him pay for your meal. But damn, was that steak bomb.

8. Tin Tans. This is one of those places where you can only go there on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. There's just something about the tacos where they just don't taste as good any other day of the week. I think the majority of students at Wazzu can relate on this one...

All of these places have such a connection to the students at Wazzu. Everyone who goes here knows where to go to find just the right meal to satisfy them. Whether it's on campus or not, we are aware where to go considering we live a 10-minute walking distance from town and a 10-minute car ride to the next state.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
