Even though summer just started, things already seem repetitive. You've gone to Avalon three times already, everyone has suggested that you go to the Alpharetta food trucks on Thursday nights and you've probably gone to Cookout for a late night snack at least once. What's the solution to the summer slump? Concerts! For very little money and a whole lot of fun, concerts can provide you with that summer night to remember—the one you'll tell your teacher about on the first day of school. Here are just a few that you could take a few of your friends to and have a night to remember!

1. Selena Gomez and DNCE

Thursday, June 19th Selena will be rocking the stage at Philips Arena. The Revival Tour just started and it is sure to be full of fun and energy. Selena has been posting all about it on her Instagram and according to reviews, it lives up to the hype she has created! Get your tickets here

2. Weezer and Panic! At The Disco

Lakewood Amphitheater provides an intimate atmosphere for a venue with these two bands. Both of these bands sound just as great live, if not better, than the recorded versions of their songs. With a funky alternative vibe to both bands, you're sure to have a wonderful time! Get your tickets here.

3. The Wombats

Speaking from personal experience, The Wombats are phenomenal in concert. They're high in energy and have amazing concert shirts! With tickets being only $20, it's worth it just for the experience of going into Atlanta and having a great time! Get your tickets here.

4. Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas

The energy between these two best friends on stage was rumored to be epic, but it was proven when they did James Cordon's "Carpool Karaoke" together. Demi's strong vocals and Nick's passion onstage create the perfect combination for an epic tour. Get your tickets here.

5. Modest Mouse and Brand New

It's always good to go to a few concerts played by bands that almost no one has heard of before, and this is one of them! Get your tickets here.

6. Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates and Jhene Aiko

With two of the biggest names in rapping, how could this concert not be good? Get your tickets here.

7. Twenty One Pilots

After coming to Atlanta in the fall, Instagrams all over Johns Creek were flooded with video clips of the lead singer jumping into the crowd. TOP plans to make this concert better than the last, if that is even possible! Get your tickets here.

8. Drake and Future

Even though this concert is after school starts for most of us, you have the option to go on either a Thursday or a Friday night! Drake's new album has deep lyrics, which are to be expected, and a surprising twist of Caribbean undertones that reaches even larger audiences than before! Get your tickets here.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
