There is always that girl in your 8 a.m. class with perfectly curled hair that seems to be too chipper for her first class of the day. On the other hand, there is the girl with the messiest bun you've ever seen wearing sweatpants and probably the t-shirt she slept in. So what exactly does each hairstyle mean for the girl sporting it?

1. Curled

Wow. If you come to class, especially an early one, with your hair curled, I am honestly impressed. This means that you took the time to get up early enough in the morning, not only to shower and blow dry your hair, but to also curl it. Im sure that you also have a detailed calendar of all of your upcoming events, papers, and tests, most likely color coordinated

2. Straightened

Again, I am equally impressed that you woke up early enough to actually make an effort in the morning, but not quite as impressed as that girl that curled her hair. You still probably have your life together and are pretty good at time management so two thumbs up to you.

3. Pinned back

So you didn't allocate thirty minutes of your morning to your hair, but you still certainly made an effort. Maybe you enjoy slowly getting ready in the morning and enjoy your cup of coffee instead of fussing with your hair. Or maybe you have bed head and needed to cover it up and you definitely weren't sacrificing sleep time for great hair in the morning. Nevertheless you still look better than 75 percent of us.

4. Natural

You rolled out of bed, checked the mirror and thought "yeah, this good." You probably brushed your hair and your teeth and then walked out the door. Keeping it simple and relaxed.

5. Fancy pony tail

I personally have never been able to look professional and put together with a pony tail, but to the girl who can, congrats. Maybe your hair is a little bit greasy, but you know how unhealthy it is to wash it every day, so you pull out the 'fancy' pony tail. You look like you know what you're doing, without actually having to know and thats awesome.

6. Regular pony tail

You don't quite have the same shine as that girl with the fancy pony tail, and its a safe bet that your hair is up because its just a little bit too gross to leave down. You probably stayed up late last night working on assignments (or more liking avoiding them with friends). Throw some baby powder on your part, and pull it back and you can make it through the day.

7. Messy bun

It's questionable if you brushed your hair, and how clean that shirt is. We have all been there. Last night was hard, and you probably needed a good night's rest, but your much deserved sleep was rudely interrupted by your alarm. Its okay, you will make it through this class.

8. The baseball hat

Today is going to be a rough day for you. Nobody wakes up in the morning thinking "wow, a baseball cap will really make this outfit great." The only place that a baseball hat isn't used as a distraction for the complete disregard for showering is at an actual baseball game.
