No matter what year in the 90's you were born, we can all agree on the fact that these were some of the best years for toys. Growing up with these toys from the late 90's to the early 2000's made these some of the best years.
1. Lite Brite
The light board that every kid wanted. The thousands of pegs that you would lose in a matter of weeks. The most amazing piece of plastic at the time, the Lite Brite.
2. Tamagotchi
The trendiest keychain in the world. This was the first pet we all had, but if you forgot about it for a day, kiss your new pet goodbye.
3. Webkinz
This was the upgraded pet from your tamagotchi. You not only got a new stuffed animal to add to your collection, but a new pet to take care of and check on every day when you got home from school!
4. Furby
Have you ever wanted your very own talking bird that woke you up in the middle of the night every night, even if you removed it's batteries? Then this is the toy for you!
5. Polly Pockets
If you didn't have Polly herself, and every single one of her friends, you were so not the cool kid on the block. Of course, your status also depended on how many articles of plastic clothing your dog hadn't chewed up yet.
6. Bop It
You were the star of recess if you had this toy, but for some reason you could never be as good as the cool kids on the commercials.
7. American Girl Dolls
Every Christmas, I know I hoped to find a doll that looked just like me under the tree. Even though these dolls cost an arm and a leg, parents always seemed to find a way to get both the doll AND the matching pajama set each year.
8. Bratz
Bratz dolls were the name of the game when Barbie faded out. They were the most fashionable dolls on the market, plus a great makeup inspiration.
