We all thought when we got home we would finally get a break from the stresses of our college lives. It's summer, the birds are chirping, sun is shining, so on and so forth. That was until we actually got home and realized that, news flash, there are still responsibilities here. Whether it be parents, work, etc. (or a bad combination), we aren't truly as free as we thought we were going to be. Here are some memes showing just what it was like when we made our way back home for the summer.

We thought it'd be smooth sailing after finals...

...but we found out we had a LOT to do. Whether it be: work,


or ignoring work,


parents who actually give you a curfew,

and chores to do.


Even if you DID find some free time, you have little to no money


and your friends are just as busy as you are.


So hey, while it may not be ideal, it's still the summer, and there are no classes. Always look on the bright side, right?
