7 Ways to Play Off Tripping in Public

C'mon, it happens to us all. If you are not clumsy at all or if you are as awkward and clumsy as I am, you will trip in public at some point in your life. Luckily, I am here to give you some pointers on how to play it off.

1. Look around.

Check to see if anyone saw you. If no one saw you, you're in the clear! If they did, follow the rest of these steps.

2. Get up and walk away quickly.

The longer you stay on the ground, the higher the chance someone sees you. Be in denial that anything happened.

3. Look to blame someone for pushing you.

This only works if people are next to you. Throwing your friends under the bus in front of strangers is always fun!

4. Look back at what you tripped on with the face "Who put that there?!"

Act like you walk these streets every day and that uneven sidewalk/untied shoelace/stump in the ground was never there.

 5. Act like you are injured.

"It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt." In that case, people do not want to laugh at the injured kid. If you have to, shed a few tears. People will pity you rather than mock you.

6. Pretend you were going down for pushups.

Fellas, this one works when there is a cutie around! If you start falling, stick out your hands and do 30 pushups. Spontaneous exercise is the best exercise.

7. Bust out break-dancing.

If you do not enjoy pushups (like most people), then turn your fall into a dance move! If you do not know how to break-dance, I do not suggest this one. You may embarrass yourself more than if you were just to trip and fall.

Spread the word. Stop public embarrassment. It not only humiliates yourself, but also your friends.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
