Ever see an adorable Pinterest "hack" and then think you could never pull that off? Here are some things anyone can do!

1. Make a succulent garden.

Succulents are the perfect plants for those of us who, let's face it, don't have the greenest thumb. Along with being absolutely adorable, they will make the perfect addition to any room.

2. Crayon Art

Crayon art is not only super relaxing but there isn't really a way to mess it up! All you need is a box of crayons, a canvas and a blowdryer.

3. Sharpie Mug

For this one, all you need is a plain mug and a sharpie. From there, freehand any saying or design and you have a perfectly unique mug to drink your coffee, tea or hot chocolate!

4. Tassel Pillow

Ever wanted to make your own throw pillow, but thought it would take to much effort? Not this one! Get some soft fabric, scissors and stuffing, and you can have a unique pillow in any shape you please.

5. Decorative Wall

This one is super easy and looks great for taking photos. All you do is take some streamers, and hang them from the ceiling close together against the wall in some pattern. Then, put some balloons in front of the wall, and you have a perfect photo booth!

6. Chalkboard Paint

Chalkboard paint can be found in a normal paint can or in a pen form. It is great to help get organized or give you a little space to doodle.

7. Washi Tape Calendar

Washi tape can be used practically anywhere to spruce it up, but it can also be very functional. Instead of running out to the store and buying a big calendar, use some post-it notes, washi tape and a ruler, and you can create the perfect calendar for any space.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
