It's the most wonderful time of the year...unless you're a retail worker. We've all seen them, we've all stood behind them in line, and we've all watched many videos of brawls break out all because they just had to have those towels that were only 50 cents cheaper than regular price. These are the type of people that are both entertaining and annoying at the same time. Here are 7 people that you run into while Christmas shopping:
1. The "I can't decide" shopper.
This shopper is the shopper that stands in your way while you're trying to reach something. They're just standing there staring at the same exact thing for like an hour. You can usually spot this shopper because they're the ones that are shaking their heads over and over again. Then, when they finally decide on something and take it to the register to check out, they once again change their minds.
2. The "I woke up like this" shopper.
If you've ever been to a local Walmart, then you know exactly who I'm talking about without having to explain any further. The Walmart locals don't stop there with their fashion, unfortunately they take it everywhere they go. You can spot them in their printed pajamas, no bra, hair sticking every which way, and they haven't brushed their teeth nor taken a shower. These are the type of shoppers that you have to try to control your judgemental facial expressions.
3. The "lazy" shopper.
This one is the most aggravating shopper, and this is coming from a retail employee. If you've ever worked retail, then you already know who I'm talking about. This shopper is the one that takes a million things into the fitting room, tries everything on, and then leaves everything inside out laying on the floor for you to rehang and put away. AAAHHHH! Don't be that shopper. It's not that hard to put the stuff back on the hanger, really.
4. The "askin' all them questions" shopper.
Recently, a video went viral of a woman and her recent return experience at Kohl's. We've all waited countless minutes on shoppers like the one she was talking about all because they just didn't get it. For whatever reason, they could not comprehend plain English. Now, coming from a retail worker, I take the sympathy with the Kohl's employee. I know what it's like to just get a manager over there just so that I don't have to deal with the stupid questions anymore. Just move out of the way!
5. The "restless mother" shopper.
Okay, this one isn't a complaining one but rather a "I get it, Mama. Bless your heart." We can spot her by her children's beacon of screams and begging. They're tired, ill, and they want to go home so that makes her tired, ill, and wanting to go home. I am not a mom, but I can put myself in her shoes. For those rude fuddy duddies that make comments about her kids acting out of line, how dare you. She's just a mom that's wanting to shop for her family, and unfortunately could not find someone to watch the kids.
6. The "breathless sighing" shopper.
I literally laughed out loud when I typed that. This shopper is the one that stands in line tapping his or her foot while letting out a series of loud sighs as if that would make the line move faster. Just chill. The retail worker is doing everything he or she can to get everyone out in a timely manner. Unfortunately, she has to go through several questions, concerns, and sensors in the process. It's the holidays, there are going to be lines. Patience is a virtue.
7. The "let me see your manager" shopper.
After the employee has already tried to explain a policy to the customer a million times, this shopper still demands to see manager. In all reality, hearing those words is like candy to the employees ears. They will GLADLY get someone else to tell you the same exact thing. And then this shopper storms out of the store flapping their gums and sounding silly. Sorry, you can't have everything, hun.
