If you grew up at all like I did, you love food. That's all there is to it. Food is the most important thing in your life. There's something magical in the way that food makes you feel. Some would say it's an addiction, but you know that things aren't that serious. Food has always been there for you; it's never betrayed you, and you couldn't live without it.
1. Rule #1: you don't share food.
If you offer food to someone, it is a rare occasion and you're only offering because it's so delicious you would feel bad to keep all of the deliciousness to yourself. If someone just takes food off of your plate without asking or you offering, the world is about to end. What kind of monster thinks they can just take someone else's food.
2. Saving food for later has the possibility to end poorly.
Getting home and realizing that someone ate the food that you'd been saving for when you got home, the world seriously just ended and you've entered a deep depression that only food can bring you out of.
3. You think about food all the time.
It doesn't matter when, or where, if you're spaced out, you're probably thinking about food. You could be in the middle on another meal and you're already planning what you're going to eat for your next meal. You're excited about food that you're not even eating, and when you plan to go to dinner somewhere, you spend all of your time leading up to that dinner date thinking about what you're going to eat and getting super pumped.
4. You're always hungry
Even if you just ate, you're already hungry again. I mean if you're always thinking about food, then of course you're going to be hungry. If someone even brings up food as a conversational topic, then you instantly get hungry.
5. Hangry is a real thing.
Hangry (adj) a state of anger caused by an extended period of hunger, or a negative change in emotional state caused by hunger. Hangry is somewhere between,"I'm hungry" and "Someone get me something to eat or I will fall over and die." Food is the only thing that can fix your attitude, but beware because some people have attitudes regardless of whether or not they're hangry.
6. Thanksgiving is your favorite holiday.
Mountains of food that never ends, no one judges you for how much you eat, and there's pie? Yeah, Thanksgiving is definitely your favorite holiday. Don't even get me started on the left overs! Leggings and sweatpants were made for this glorious day.
7. You couldn't eat healthy if you tried
People try to tell you to eat healthy and you've tried a few times, but you can't resist, especially when going to the gym every day justifies eating Taco Bell every day as well.
