7 Things People With Summer Birthdays Will Understand

1. No School!

You get to sleep in, have a nice birthday breakfast, relax and enjoy an amazing summer day that's homework free!

2. ... But you never got to celebrate your birthday in class.

You were always a little jealous of the kids who got to pass out birthday treats especially since everyone was your best friend that day and it felt really good.

3. You can have cake AND ice cream.

It's never too cold for ice cream in my opinion, but ice cream in the summer tastes so much better. Plus on your birthday you get to eat it with cake...the best combination to ever exist.

4. You're the youngest in your friend group.

You were the last to drive, the last to be able to see R-rated movies (if you were scared of the movie police like I was) and the last to drink. You're used to your friends calling you a baby but hey, at least you're the cutest.

5. People tend to miss your parties because of vacations.


Hope you're having fun in the Bahamas while I'm over here celebrating my birth.

6. Outdoor parties.

They probably weren't this extravagant, but you could still celebrate with slip 'n slides, barbecues, popsicles and outdoor fires.

7. You've never experienced a Christmas/Birthday present.

Jesus can't steal your birthday thunder.

Summer birthdays are definitely weird...but we still love you, summer babies!
