If you're reading this article then somewhere inside you is a cat lady (or man, cats don't care about gender). Maybe you're a proud cat lady, or maybe it's a secret desire you've yet to accept. If you think you are, but don't know for sure, here are a few signs that you are in fact, a cat lady.
1. You think about your cat all the time.
When you're not with you cat, you think about your cat. You miss them, and you wonder if they miss you too. I mean how can't you miss such a cute face?!
2. You have pictures of your cat on your phone and get your siblings to send you more when you're not home.
Because when you're having a bad day, your cat can always make you happier. Those cute eyes, and fluffiness, they can make any bad day a good one.
3. You have a cat themed shirt/sticker/phone case.
You have a sticker on your computer, your phone case has a cat on it, and you own one or more shirts with a cat on it. Bonus points if any of the cats are galaxy or tie-dyed theme.
4. You want to adopt all of the cats.
When you go past the pet center, you can't help but wistfully sigh at all the kittens you pass by. Whenever you see a cat roaming the streets you just want to scoop it up and take it home with you.
5. You try to sneak your cat into every conversation.
Someone mentions something and you can somehow relate it to your cat. Remember when he climbed up the curtains? Or just how cute and cuddly your kitty was last night. You always have a story about your cat, or just want to talk about them in general.
6. Cat videos are your go-to on the internet.
A new cat video or Vine? You've probably seen it. You see a cat do a cool trick and immediately try to make your cat do it, but they just lay there like the lazy bum they are.
7. Nothing beats coming home and cuddling with your kitty.
After a long day, your cat will always be there to comfort you. They'll cuddle up on your lap while you binge on Netflix, they purr and warm your lap, and you realize that your cat is the best cat out there.
And that is how you know, you're a cat lady. Now go and enjoy your cat-filled life.
