If you're binge-watching a show on Netflix and it's not "Grey's Anatomy" then you need to re-evaluate your life. OK, maybe not your whole life, but at least re-evaluate what you're watching on Netflix. I'm sure you've heard the hype that is "Grey's Anatomy", and believe me, the show lives up to it. As much as it is just another show about doctors in hospitals, it also is a show filled with relate-able characters, good looking men, and valuable life lessons. For those reasons alone you should watch Grey's, but if that doesn't convince you, then here are 7 more reasons to make Grey's Anatomy your next Netflix and chill night.
1. Meredith and Christina's Relationship
They may be dark and twisty, but the truth is, no one gets the other person like each other do. They're there for each other when they need it the most and will always "dance it out" if something is really wrong. You're going to want to aspire to have a friendship like theirs while watching the show - someone to call "your person."
2. McDreamy
If you still call Patrick Dempsey by his real name and not McDreamy after you start watching Grey's, then you don't deserve to be watching it. No one will ever live up McDreamy in real life or TV life so just accept that, and enjoy the view.
4. McSteamy
Okay I lied, maybe one person can compare to McDreamy and that's his best friend... McSteamy (and rightfully named). Age is just a number and as the show goes on and time passes, he only gets better looking.
5. The Drama
Oh, the Drama. Whether it's personal drama or patient drama, Grey's doesn't disappoint in that department. So many tears are to be shed - let that be a warning (and I'm not a crier).
6. Learning
Of course watching "Grey's Anatomy" won't make you a doctor, but you can at least feel like one from the very comfort of your home! It's cool to feel like you're learning with the characters even though you forget what previous surgeries and big words were taught when the next episode starts.
7. You Won't Be Able To Stop
Once you start watching, you'll be hooked. 12 seasons will go by and you won't even know what hit you, but luckily the series is still on going and you will have plenty more episodes to watch - but after that, you won't know what to do with yourself.
So I think I've made my point, and these seven reasons to watch will become more clear once you press season 1 on Netflix. You'll look back and thank me for informing you on an opportunity not to be missed. You'll go back and remember this article, and perhaps even share it.
