Ever been on the phone with the bank or the receptionists when you're trying schedule an appointment and they ask you, "Can you tell me your date of birth please?" With confidence, you say, "01...I mean, March. Wait. I'm sorry." *awkward laugh* "I don't know why I don't know my own birthday. January 13, 1994. 1995!"
Now, you're wondering if they think you're a fraud, like someone is trying to impersonate you.
2. The Dog From The Movie "UP" When He Sees A Squirrel Is Your Life in Dory Form.
Whether you're trying to have a serious conversation with someone or just normal chatting and..you think of something.
You yell, "OH!" They pause and wait for you to explain this random outburst, but you feel rude, so, you want to let them continue, but what if you forget again...it's really important...but now, they're looking at you crazy...damn what was it that I just thought and didn't want to forget...they're still looking at me, damn what were we talking about again?
3. That Brings Me To..."What did you just say?"
In the middle of your conversation with someone you forgot what they just said and you're constantly having to ask people to repeat themselves. You know people hate repeating themselves.

5. You're Now A Master At Retracing Your Steps
You've been forgetting and losing stuff your whole life. You have had to adapt the survival technique of retracing your steps. You can't remember what you just did, so, you must force yourself to remember the last most important thing you did. The memories that stuck due to a smell, a major event or something really cool. You, also, literally must retrace the said steps. Your friends and family are already used to wandering around with a confused look on your face.

It's official, you're Dory. Even if you can't remember why they're calling you that.
7. You Just Keep Swimming
Life is hard, you just get so stressed out sometimes. There are so many things to remember: to make appointments, meetings, events, birthdays, those automatic payments that come out of your account, to pack your lunch for work, so, you don't buy anything, to call your mom, to set your seven alarms for the morning, the list you made for the grocery store that's at home.
But, you have to remember you have dreams and goals! Life's pleasures wouldn't feel so great without the annoyances and pains we go through. Take it a day at a time and keep swimming like you have.
