They’re calling it "the cookie dough of cake," and for a good reason.

Anyone with a sweet tooth can agree that one of the greatest dessert dilemmas is portion size. It’s nearly impossible (not to mention incredibly unhealthy) to eat an entire gallon of ice cream or finish a whole cake in just one sitting. While ice cream can easily be stored in the freezer for later use, cake does not comply to the rules of refrigeration. Either left out or stored in the fridge, cake still becomes hard, stale and dry within days of being opened, and often goes to waste.

Enter Cake•This, a single-serve package of cake mixed with frosting that’s both resealable and delicious. (Chances are, you won’t even have leftovers to store — it’s that good!) Picture the insides of a cake pop, but spoonable and more portable. It's one of those things you truly have to taste to see how delicious it is. The start up is a product of a Lehigh University student and her new partner, who worked over the course of a summer entrepreneurship venture to bring the dessert into fruition. The two have a dream to deliver spoonable cake cups across campuses everywhere. In case you need more convincing, here are seven reasons why you have got to try Cake•This.

1. It has the golden ratio of cake to frosting.

You'll get the perfect bite of cake, every single time.

2. It's portable!

The resealable packaging allows you to get your sugar fix on the run.

3. There's nothing else out there like it.

Sure, you may have tried cake pops, cake in a jar or even the quintessential cupcake, but this is a whole new dessert game, and we want in.

4. It makes a great ice cream topping.

Forget cookie dough; this gives "have your cake and eat it too" a whole new meaning. Innovation, innovation, innovation.

5. It comes in multiple flavors.

Cake•This comes in all of your favorite flavors: red velvet, chocolate fudge, carrot cake and funfetti, to name a few. They also feature kids and seasonal flavors.

6. It's mess-free.

Your life is already enough of a mess. Your desserts shouldn't be.

7. You don't need a reason to eat it.

Usually cakes are saved for special occasions, but not Cake•This. Your dog's half-birthday? Definitely time for cake. Just failed your calc exam? You deserve some cake. It’s Wednesday? Treat yo' self.

Cake•This will soon be available at local stores in Bethlehem, PA, but is actively expanding to bring spoonable cake to locations near you. As the saying goes, "Let them eat cake."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
