If you begin to salivate when you hear the words peanut butter or pizza, you know what it means to be a foodie. A foodie is someone who values food more than many other aspects in their lives (including hobbies, sports, and some people), so if you are someone who thinks everything food is them in a nutshell, these reasons may sound very familiar to you.

Reasons why food is the bomb.com:

#1: Food makes you happy!According to Health.com, foods such as salmon can help your mood by the incorporation of omega-3 fatty acids into your diet (yummy!)

#2: Food is necessary for survival

If you do not eat food, you are not able to live. So, eat what nourishes your body and allows living a long and enjoyable life!

#3: Food can be unhealthy (and delicious

;))

Try to restrain yourself from drooling at this beauty :)

#4: Or...food can be healthy and delicious!

Having food that is delicious and healthy can give you the best of both worlds: being a healthy individual while being happy because of the delicious food you are eating!

#5: Food can help you fall asleep.... (Zzzz)

During those sleepless nights or after stressful days, having foods like pretzel with a hot cup of chamomile tea will knock you out for the night. According to Reader’s Digest, pretzels and similar foods, like corn chips, cause a spike in your insulin level, which will decrease the amount of time it will take you to fall asleep.

#6: Food can make you more ENERGIZED!

Don’t pick up those cups of coffee! According to Every Girl, eating foods like dark chocolate, bananas, and greek yogurt will help you stay awake and ready to take on the day!

#7: Food is...

Whether you are eating your midnight pizza slice or your morning bowl of oatmeal, food is a central part of our daily lives. Love food, embrace food, and be a foodie if you aren’t one already. I promise that you will not regret it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
